Removal of data from the registry of undesirable persons and obtaining a residence card
A client approached me who was denied a residence card because his data appeared in the registry of undesirable persons in Poland. The reason for this situation was unclear to the client, as he didn’t know why he was included in this list. This became a real challenge for him, as he didn’t understand how to resolve the problem.
After the request, I promptly took on the case as the deadline for filing an appeal was limited. First, I prepared an appeal regarding the refusal of the residence card, and then I submitted an official request to the Office for Foreigners to clarify why the client was included in the registry of undesirable persons.
As it turned out, the main reason for inclusion in the registry was a court decision and an unpaid fine. Therefore, his data was automatically added to the list. After the client fulfilled all obligations under the court decision, I filed a petition to remove his data from the registry.
After the successful review of the petition, the client’s data was removed from the registry. This allowed the process of obtaining the residence card to continue, and by the time the appeal was reviewed, the client’s information was no longer in the registry. As a result, the appeal was granted, and the client received the residence card, allowing him to continue his stay and work in Poland.
