However, if a Ukrainian citizen found legal employment, they may apply for a temporary residence permit (karta pobytu) based on work. To switch from a humanitarian visa to a residence permit, you must: 1. Submit the application for a temporary residence permit before your visa expires. 2. Provide a job contract and confirmation from the employer. 3. Include documents proving stable income, health insurance, and accommodation. 4. Stay in Poland legally during the procedure. While the visa itself can’t be extended, legal stay may be prolonged through this transition. It's advisable to consult with the local Voivodeship Office or a legal advisor to ensure proper timing and documentation.
