Confirm Mobywatel (Diia.pl) 

Following Russia's full-scale invasion, thousands of Ukrainians have been granted the right to legally reside in Poland. For convenience and quick identification in the local Mobywatel app, an electronic document known as Diia.pl has been introduced. This certificate confirms the right to stay in Poland after 24 February 2022 and, together with a foreign passport, allows free movement within the Schengen area. However, quite a few Ukrainians have encountered problems confirming their status: the data in the registers does not match, the system does not accept the application, or there is no access to the necessary Polish services. How to activate Diia.pl? 

The process is not as easy as in Ukraine. To confirm your data, you must go through the following steps:

• Lack of access to bank identification. The customer cannot use the ‘Diia.pl via bank’ function because the bank does not support this method or the data does not match. 
• Problems with the SIM card. It is impossible to complete authorisation due to a change of number or its blocking. 
• Loss of access to the previous profile. The client accidentally deleted the account, changed the phone or cannot recover the password.
• System errors. In such cases, a lawyer helps to correctly file an appeal and takes over communication with technical support or the authorities that maintain the register.
